Sport for Good Award

The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council (NICRC) in association with Sported are inviting nominations for the Sport for Good Award.

This category aims to recognise an outstanding use of sport or physical activity by a community club or organisation to create stronger communities through social impact. This award will celebrate the ways in which sport can build bridges, drive change and transform lives in a positive way, either through the specific work of a club or a project it has developed.

Nominations will close on Monday 19 January 2026 at 12 noon.

Late nominations cannot be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE SPORT FOR GOOD AWARD.

The Sport for Good Award is open to groups and organisations.

Self-nominations are not permitted. Staff and Board Members of the Community Relations Council and Sported (and their family members) are ineligible for nomination, although they may nominate others.

Nomination forms will be reviewed and assessed by a panel. Therefore, information will be shared with the members of the assessment panel for the purpose of assessing your nomination. By completing this form you are therefore confirming the nominated entrant(s) consents to this information being made available to the assessment panel and third parties associated with the Awards process.
