The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council, in association with NI Youth Forum, are inviting nominations for the Good Relations Youth Award.
This category aims to recognise and celebrate young people under the age of 25 who are delivering positive good relations work in their community. The Award can be for an individual, group of young people, school, youth club or youth focused organisation. The nominee's peacebuilding activity is helping to create a community which promotes mutual respect and understanding, is strengthened by its diversity and is somewhere cultural expression is celebrated and embraced. They bring people together, helping to develop mutual respect and understanding and enhancing the celebration and embracing of diversity.
Nominations will close on 19 December 2024.
Late nominations cannot be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE GOOD RELATIONS YOUTH AWARD
The Good Relations Youth Award is open to an individual, group of young people, school, youth club or youth-focused organisation.
Self-nominations are not permitted. Staff and Board Members of the Community Relations Council and The Executive Office (and their family members) are ineligible for nomination, although they may nominate others.
Nomination forms will be reviewed and assessed by a panel. Therefore, information will be shared with the members of the assessment panel for the purpose of assessing your nomination. By completing this form you are therefore confirming the nominated entrant(s) consents to this information being made available to the assessment panel and third parties associated with the Awards process.
