Good Relations Community Champion Award

The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council (NICRC) in association with NICVA are inviting nominations for the Good Relations Community Champion Award.

This category aims to recognise the long standing and positive difference an individual has made to supporting good relations in their local area. This person is the driving force and leader for good relations in their local area, creating a community, which promotes mutual respect and understanding, is strengthened by its diversity and where cultural expression is celebrated and embraced. This person regularly goes over and above to deliver and champion the community, while also supporting others and bringing them on the good relations journey. They may be a volunteer or be employed in this work.

Nominations will close on 19 December 2024.

Late nominations cannot be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE GOOD RELATIONS COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD.

The Good Relations Community Champion Award is open to an individual. They may be a volunteer or employed in this work.

(Exceptionally a joint nomination may be considered if two individuals have been involved in a partnership project).

Community groups, residents' groups, voluntary groups, other groups, or groups of individuals are not eligible. Please return to the nomination page to nominate for Awards which are open to groups.

Self-nominations are not permitted. Staff and Board Members of the Community Relations Council and The Executive Office (and their family members) are ineligible for nomination, although they may nominate others.

Nomination forms will be reviewed and assessed by a panel. Therefore, information will be shared with the members of the assessment panel for the purpose of assessing your nomination. By completing this form you are therefore confirming the nominated entrant(s) consents to this information being made available to the assessment panel and third parties associated with the Awards process.
