The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council, in association with Volunteer Now
are inviting nominations for the Good Relations Volunteer of the Year Award.
This category aims to recognise the outstanding commitment of a Volunteer who is focused and dedicated to peacebuilding; supporting good relations programmes and initiatives in their local community. This award will recognise an individual helping to create a community which promotes mutual respect and understanding. They will have brought people together, changing attitudes and embracing difference, developing mutual respect and understanding, strengthening and enhancing the celebration of cultural expression and diversity, all as an unpaid Volunteer.
Nominations will close on 19 December 2024.
Late nominations cannot be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE GOOD RELATIONS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD.
The Good Relations Volunteer of the Year Award is open to an individual.
(Exceptionally a joint nomination may be considered if two individuals have been involved in a partnership project).
Community groups, residents' groups, voluntary groups, other groups, or groups of individuals are not eligible. Please return to the nomination page to nominate for awards which are open to groups.
Self-nominations are not permitted. Staff and Board Members of the Community Relations Council and The Executive Office (and their family members) are ineligible for nomination, although they may nominate others.
Nomination forms will be reviewed and assessed by a panel. Therefore, information will be shared with the members of the assessment panel for the purpose of assessing your nomination. By completing this form you are therefore confirming the nominated entrant(s) consents to this information being made available to the assessment panel and third parties associated with the Awards process.
