Jordan, as a young person has made striving success in the community volunteer sector. At just 16 he got involved in bettering a communities in North Belfast, his main impact was felt in the Westland area of the city. An area filled with deprivation, educational underachievement and antisocial behaviour. Jordan in his role as a community volunteer delivered projects aimed at bring people together, respectfully and embracing others.
Jordan now at 22, delivers exciting events for the area including, cultural expressions, educational projects and seasonal events.
Since becoming involved in Community work, Jordan alongside residents, committee members and politicians have secured over £1 million in a capital investment for a new community facility for the area. A centre Jordan has previously described as a "Centre for all".
Embracing difference and building communities is a passion of Jordan's and its something that is to be desired, he is a phenomenal young people with great potential for the future.
Jordan, started off his volunteering commitments at the local Hospice shop and is a committed leader in the Boys' Brigade. Jordan has worked to most of his young life, for others.
