Graham has worked continuously over many years to promote good relations not only amongst the local community in Omagh, but also to promote cross-border relations. Grahams service with the RAF Air Cadets in Omagh has been exemplary, and his aim is to ensure the young Air Cadets focus on commonalities as opposed to any differences. Graham works tirelesley to ensure that the Air Cadets is accesible to young people from all cultures and bakgrounds and has invited in other organisations to engage with the young people to ensure they feel included regardless of cultural/religious beliefs.

More recently, Graham has been appointed as a Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Co Tyrone, again using this role to promote good relations. He wants to ensure that the Lieutenancy is accessible to all residents of the county, and since taking up his post he has participated in a wide range of events including building upon cross-border relations.
